Chicken mafé (Senegal) Ingredients: 2- West Indian peppers- 4- mixed bird's eye peppers- 2- onions (chopped) pepper salt- 1- chicken- 1 jar of- peanut paste- 50 g of- tomato paste- 4- sweet potatoes- 4- potatoes- 2 teaspoons of- chestnuts found in exotic grocery stores) - 2 pods of - garlic - 1 l of water.
Utensils: 1 Knife kitchen knives - 1 frying pan -

Phase 1
Brown the chicken in hot peanut oil.


Phase 2
The rreserve (remove them from the heat).


Phase 3
Brown the onions and bird's eye pepper until browned.


Phase 4
Then add the concentrated tomato and the two cloves of garlic (chipped). Leave to cook for 2 minutes.


Phase 5
Add the water, potatoes and sweet potatoes. Leave to cook for 20 minutes.


Phase 6
Then add the peanut paste, season (salt and pepper).


Phase 7
After 2 minutes of cooking, add the netatou and cook until the sauce thickens (very consistent).


Phase 8
Return the chicken to the sauce with the two West Indian peppers (without crushing them, above all!).


Phase 9
Cook over low heat and semi-covered for 30 minutes.
